Things I'll Miss

I've done plenty of complaining about how current restrictions suck (because they do, even of they help keep us safe) and all the things I miss (short list: seeing friends, seeing live and visual art, going to bars and restaurants, date nights, random shopping for no particular purpose). But these are some things I'll miss about our life over the past several weeks:

-  Walks.
-  Watching the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus livestream.
-  Watching other cool livestreams — it seems like there is always something popping up on my stream, like the Jayhawks jamming in their living room, or Ben Folds playing in in an AirBnB in Australia, or other cool things.
-  Roomba League.
-  Mr. Howe's Story Corner, the Showcases, and the SPA weekly virtual assemblies.
-  Eavesdropping on Beatrix's classes while she does virtual school.
-  Sleeping in and drinking coffee in bed.
-  Delicious meals at home.
-  Baking.
-  Family reading time.
-  Taking the time to watch mini-series in just a few days (Unorthodox, Chernobyl.)
-  Making some progress on house projects.
-  Getting our yards in shape earlier than usual.
-  Family time while our kid still likes us.
-  Zoom happy hours with friends who live far away that I don't normally get to see.
-  Being able to handle work issues that normally call for meetings and back and forth with some quick emails or a phone call//zoom.
-  People being understanding that there are other things going on in your life.
-  Gardening.
-  Sneaking in some hot tub time.
-  Getting my library holds faster because everyone is reading more.
-  Writing letters.
-  Mending.
-  Cleaning through things.
-  Making exotic cocktails.
-  Listening in to Beatrix as she makes up videos, etc.
-  Extra pet snuggle time.
-  Historic Saint Paul Trivia Night.
-  Taking advantage of essential tasks to give a wave to a friend.
-  Working a full day and then taking time off at night or on the weekends to relax some because you're just so overwhelmed with everything else.
-  Puzzles and games.
-  Virtual galas and fundraisers.
-  Front porch photos.
-  Virtual conferences (I've been to 2 — 3 days worth!) and webinars.
-  Ashland Eats Out.
-  Curbside service.
-  Big free piles.
-  People appreciate restaurants and places that stay open.
-  People taking the time to do nice things for people.

ETA: I need to add "porch photos" to the list. And maybe virtual camps, though not sure yet.
